Will the paddle shifter kit fit my Patrol/Armada?

The kit has been confirmed to fit Nissan Y62 Patrol models from 2018–2024. Fitment on earlier models is likely but not yet fully confirmed—if you’d like to trial fit, contact us and we can arrange this through one of our fitting partners.

Is the kit really plug-and-play?

Yes! No cutting, drilling, or splicing is required. The full wiring harness and control box are designed for true plug-and-play installation, which takes around 15 minutes.

Can I install the paddle shifters myself?

Maybe but....we’ve got install videos floating around. No, you should not copy them. The guy doing the install in those clips has about as much mechanical training as a wombat with a socket set.

If you decide to follow along anyway—good luck! But if your car, your driveway, your mate’s shed, or even your ego takes a hit, that’s all on you.

👉 Our official recommendation: hire a qualified installer, grab a beer, and enjoy watching someone who knows what they’re doing.

Do the paddle shifters change selection modes?

No changes are made to the factory auto function. The paddles give you full manual control when you select manual mode—perfect for towing, off-roading, or spirited driving.

Do I need to update or reprogram my ECU?

No ECU changes are required. The kit integrates seamlessly with your existing factory setup.

Will it void my warranty?

Because the system is non-invasive and plug-and-play, it generally won’t affect your manufacturer’s warranty. However, we recommend checking with your dealer if you have specific concerns.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! While we’re based in Australia, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times vary by location and will be calculated at checkout.

Do you offer fitting services?

We don’t fit kits directly, but our authorized stockiest and fitting partners around Australia can supply and professionally install your kit.

What’s your returns or warranty policy?

All products come with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturing defects. If you encounter any issues, contact our team and we’ll sort it out quickly.

Install Videos?

⚠️ Disclaimer – Watch at Your Own Risk!

This installation video was filmed by someone who is absolutely not a professional and, quite frankly, has no idea what they’re doing.

Any resemblance to proper mechanical technique is purely coincidental.

If you choose to follow along, you do so entirely at your own risk.

We (and the guy in the video) accept zero responsibility for any damage, injury, or catastrophic failure that may occur to you, your vehicle, your shed, or your dignity.

Always use a qualified fitter — preferably one who actually knows what they’re doing.
